Oscar Baudrand
A passionate climber raised on rock from an early age, he specializes in bouldering and lead climbing. A member of the Canadian National Team, he represents Canada on the IFSC World Cup circuit and was selected for the 2025 IFSC World Championships in Seoul in both boulder and lead.
Still active at the highest international level, he reached his first-ever World Cup final in 2026 in Madrid, finishing 7th in boulder. His recent results also include a 10th-place finish at the 2024 IFSC Boulder World Cup in Salt Lake City, appearances at both Olympic Qualifier Series stops (Shanghai and Budapest), and a 5th-place finish at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games in boulder and lead. His youth career featured Youth World Championships finals in 2019, with 5th in boulder and 4th in lead.
He coaches climbers of all levels, from beginners to competitive athletes. His approach draws on firsthand experience at the world's highest level, a refined understanding of movement and reading, and a concrete grasp of what international competition demands.
