MATTHEW RODRIGUEZ - PRO TEAM
Matthew Rodriguez is a Canadian competition climber with a fast-rising presence on the international circuit. He started climbing at age 10 and began competing at 12, quickly committing to high-performance competition climbing with the goal of becoming a consistent IFSC athlete.
In 2023, Matthew made his first IFSC appearance at the Youth World Championships in Seoul, reaching the lead final and placing 7th, alongside a strong bouldering result. He followed that momentum with a breakout international win—taking gold in men’s bouldering at the 2024 IFSC Pan American Championships—and has continued stacking high-level results across major North American events. Outside of climbing, he’s pursuing a degree in graphic design.
